Not talking about them.
Same as @raindog308 I thought you all were talking about them
OK, sorry if I was confused.
For the record, I recommend CatalystHost. @ryanarp participates here and based on 3 years' experience, they've been a very good host.
Plans in Dallas:
Have a link to that 12$ offer?
You can find all my promos here. https://portal.catalysthost.com/cart.php?gid=26> @Ympker said:
Actually i don't have a reason. It was just a joke gone wrong. Don't have any experience either so if you say they are good they probably are.
Edit: Sorry @ryanarp i edited out what could be seen as baseless bashing.
Have a test ip for Dallas you can pm me?
Surely it's fine to share this publically. http://lgdal.catalysthost.com/
Went with NFP hosting and their 1 Gbps port addon for 12$/y:
Black Friday LEB - 1GB SSD VPS Promotion
2 CPU Cores
30GB Enterprise SSD Storage
1024 MB (1GB) RAM
1024 MB (1GB) vSwap
2,000 GB Monthly Bandwidth
100Mbps Network Port
1 IPv4 Address
50 IPv6 Addresses
Full Root Access
Premium, Low-Latency Network
DDoS Protected Network
OpenVZ/Virtualizor VPS Control Panel
Let's see if they stay around :P
@Ympker Even though OpenVZ, that's cheap!
Yeah indeed :P
edit: just saw OP found another vps. leaving my comment intact below.
No reason not to recommend Catalysthost's $12-15/yr vpn-friendly vzs. They are a rare quality product in this age of ipv4 price spikes.
I've had one for a year when that line came out a couple of years back.
Ryan is not Gordon.
Benchmark:
@muffin There you go
Looks good except for the cpu. But can’t complain as it’s just $12 / year. May give it a go when I get a chance. Thanks!
For OpenVPN it's all I need
