Hostigation Down?
Hostigation down? My VPS was down, and when I visit their website I get this error
AWBS License Error: Unable to validate license. Please contact the software vendor.
but I still can log in to billing. Just send support ticket and we'll see what's going on
Comments
I also can't reach the website
One of my servers is down...
http://test.excloo.com/status/
maxexcloo, what script you running on http://test.excloo.com/status/? that really nice looking.
7 hours + downtimes and counting. Still not receive any reply
I just get this email :

Seems my backup node is back!
OVZ02 still down TT
Wow, that is really nice! ... I want -_-"
I see this is a problem since my nagios instance is on ovz02 as well, so it was unable to page me overnight it was down. I did move the down nodes to my old UPS' that I had yet to take out of the racks, but of course the data center is also working on doing the work of actually replacing the batteries now too in their UPS for the colo area.
And to top it all off that nasty AWBS error since I cancelled the license for it last week, I had paid it all year after migrating to WHMCS, and though why, now I know. I put a dirty php redirect to the WHMCS landing page in for now. I am no good at web design, and have had a dozen offers to redesign the site, nobody had ever come through, but maxexcloo is actully doing some work and has make real progress on a new site, so a pat on the back for him is in order, but he has school work to do currently, and needs to focus on that.
ovz02 is currently on pass 1D of an fsck, which has taken 90 minutes I think.
If you are desperate, submit a ticket and I can restore a backup from last weekend to ovz01 or ovz03 or to Los Angeles for that matter
Pretty sure I jinxed everything with my comment here
And the node ovz02 has restarted and containers are starting up. Sorry about this downtime, need to figure out a better solution for where I put nagios.
Looking at the source code, the stats are being driven by piwik.
http://piwik.org
Didn't know that it could do server stats as well.
@tommy
The page is generated by https://github.com/cedricd/status
and the stats are generated by https://github.com/dimecadmium/scrd
GNU Affero? Never heard of that one before:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affero_General_Public_License
Interesting read. As I read it, it says that you have to release instead of GPL's if you release, you have to include the source code.
edit: Some of the biggies with open source use the loophole quite often.
reedit: Also http://www.gnu.org/licenses/why-affero-gpl.html
@Kuro Not much in the way of instructions for the status bit, I presume I have to somehow add the servers I want to monitor into the servers.db?
It will be done, don't you worry!
Famous last words
Any update on OVZ2?, I think i'm on it and my VPS seems to be down.
It's up for a while and down again also SolusVM down as well

The power must have gone out again.
@Kuro, thanks
yeah, my VPS still down, any update?
was back up a few hours back now its down again
Looks like a series of unfortunate events. While the downtime is frustrating, I appreciate the frequent communications on the situation. Play-by-play is available at:

My OVZ and KVM servers are up now, but my Backup is down.
Exciting day for Tim :P My VPS on kvm02 is still down.
My VPS on kvm02 is up.
@dmmcintyre3: It's back online now
My backup VPS is down at the moment...
Down to ovzbk, /vz is a read-only filesystem, so unmounting it to check/repair
Just think. Tomorrow he'll have fresh UPS batteries, new power lines, and newly posted "Do Not Cut" signs! Nothing but uptime coming his way!
