Looking for a VPS in Japan, any recommendations?
Hi LET!
I am looking for a VPS in Japan which could provide me a original Japan IP (that means the IP is not broadcasted from other countries (like Vultr)). Someone recommended me Sakura but it is not friendly to foreigners. So I am looking for a VPS for 1 Core 1G RAM with a budget of 5 USD/month. Would you like to provide me any good recommendations?

I've had good experience with https://www.conoha.jp and can recommend it.
Beware, Ive seen people complaining conoba limits network speed a lot some cases.
Maybe linode or oneprovider?
Using Conoha as a midpoint for a VPN network currently, not noticed any crazy throttling, but speeds are not extremely fast either. Acceptable for the price
It was just a heads up
I've seen user complaining that conoha's network degraded to kilobits after downloading a 10GB file from the server. Maybe just bad luck or maybe network between Korea and Japan was congested, I don't know. Nothing official

For IP part, maybe choose JP providers but most are not too foreigner-friendly.
Oh and one more, if you ever get ddos'd, you will be kicked out not even getting a chance to back up stuff.
I used http://ablenet.jp/vps/ a few years back. Support really tries there best to speak in understandable English.
Indeed, if you want a proper Japanese IP you need to go for Japanese providers. Foreign ones will routinely use ARIN IPs (originally from the US) and not care one little bit to even set a proper address there.
Linode will do that.
Vultr will, but they also have some APNIC ranges which you might get by luck. But iirc even those will mention a US company in whois, which can be problematic depending on your uses.
Try ConoHa or Ablenet for a start. If those don't work for you for some reason, you can move on to more esoteric ones such as Dream.jp or SPPD.
i would also recommend conoha. i had no complaints while i was with them
also the control panel was cute
