Looking for KVM to be used for RDP

mafidommafidom Member
edited December 2017 in Requests

I'm looking for a KVM VPS to be used for Remote desktop.

1 to 2 Cores minimum
2GB RAM (to run winblows)
HD Minimum 20GB would like 50+
BW 500GB minimum
Windows licensed preferred but I can bring my own.
Location US (east coast preferred), EU will also work

Budget 4 / month or better. Willing to pay yearly but provider must be in business for 2 years plus.

Budget is low because I got burned during this BF sale. Provider took money and ran.

Thank you for any suggestions or offers.

Now, @mafidom, would you prefer going a bit over 4 a month, maybe a BuyVM slice - or get a cheaper alternative and get your own licence?

  • @wss I can bring my own license :-)
    @emgh I can go over 4.

If you can afford to pay $10+/mo for a license, you can pay more than $4/mo for a service.

Get a BuyVM slice. Windows included. I think the 2GB package cost 7 a month.

  • We can do this in Tampa, FL on quarter or annual billing. Let me know if you're interested!

Are you offering 2GB ram and a Windows licence for 12 dollars a quarter? Just looking to clarify.

  • hosthatch have 2gb kvm but for $5. You may want to take a look.

We could do 1GB @~ $5/mo including a Windows 2008 R2 license if that fits? We can increase your disk by 5GB if you submit a ticket to make it 20GB.

This is NVMe disk which makes quite the difference on windows. This would be in London, we are however opening a US-W location very shortly.

That is better than the deal in your signature!
