Cloudflexy good?

I'm considering getting this plan from @racksx: https://www.dedicenter.com/cart.php?a=add&pid=203

Has anyone used them before and are they good at all? The pricing is quite nice and they offer four locations for that plan but I just want to make sure that there's nothing bad from that host.

Thanks!

@racksx if you see this, who processes bitcoin payments and can it be more cheaper by any chance?

Sometimes it helps to have backup, especially when your alternator is weak.

@Hxxx I am right now, doesn't mean I have to be completely... Why can't I use other hosts?

    @WSS probably is the best.

Thanks for the benchmark, does look very fast! :)

Looking at other locations to buy, but the bandwidth only looks fast within Singapore, everywhere else is under 90mbps, aside from Japan, but still the Asia Pacific region.

Looking at the Romania and LA locations, might get two for different uses. Darn they don't offer NVMe storage in both locations, at least LA offers SSD. Any other vouches by any chance?

Well I can't find a coupon for their 1GB plan.... rip.. I also tried applying other coupon codes I found on the internet but it won't seem to work on the 1GB plan, will work on the 512MB plan.

@racksk can I have one that will? :D

@NanoG6 Went on live chat the other day and asked about their DDoS protection. Seems that two of the LA datacenters got 40gbps protection and the Romania location has 1gbps protection. Assuming that the other LA datacenter has some kind of protection but really bad like the Romania and that France location uses OVH, they have DDoS protection everywhere, just not sure on the Germany one. I only asked on the locations I was interested in..

I ordered one 1G ovz plan vps located in Los Angel from cloudflexy, it had kept crashing and self-reboot in every 2-3 days, and the I/O only 10MB/s!! For my ticket, The staff replys me that they run a auto-balance script to protect my VPS and other user's, which implies they want me to accept the fact and do not give a solution. I just request a refund and haven't got replied.

I recommend you order one from other locations and try, they provide 100% refund within 5 days.

Hmm.. that rules out LA, must be people abusing the node a lot. Wonder if there is SSD on the node...

Let me know if they give you the refund, some hosts don't want to honor it for some reason..

We extremely apologise to all of our users in LA which are having downtime issues.

There are SSD in the servers the SSD drives cost more than the server itself, but we are having a strange issue with one of the nodes it crashes a lot without anyone abusing, looks like it was the ram which they fixed and worked fine for 2 days then again same problems, the data center would take the node offline to test it, that's all I can share at this moment, for all of our users which are on the node with the issue they will receive an extra 6 month period on the top of actual plan, once the issue has been identified and fixed.

@racksx by any chance is there any extra discount on https://www.dedicenter.com/cart.php?a=add&pid=203 ?

  • Hi @racksx,

My VPS is down and I am unable to login to control panel to create ticket. Also I am unable to restore password for my account, is my account deleted?

Could you give explanation as soon as possible?

    thanks

    Should be Jacksonville, FL.

  • Btw use 50OFF to get it for half the price.

It worked for me... It shows that there's a 50% recurring discount for me.

  • @racksx I ordered your new cloud plan 4 with coupon 50OFF, it showed the 50 recurring discount on the order page and everything looked good but after the order is placed in the billing center next payment payment is shown at full price. Raised the ticket with screen shot but support is not even clear on this and any helpful can you check?

  • @pozy, @qtwrk - got no response here, but support was clueless first saying it may be for yearly package and second saying it expired. Actually the code is or atleast was not expired as of yesterday when I joined and I actually send them the screenshot showing 50 percent recurring. Anyway cancelled and got the refund.

  • Happen to me.. I already ask them.. The 50% recurring deposit is for annual payment.. If you pay monthly the discount will only deducted for 1st month..

Rip... I couldn't use 50OFF coupon since it only works on the monthly billing for me. Try 35OFF, I used that for annual and works for me. However it was the first invoice.

  • For what it's worth- they're obviously incapable of management, too. Their WHMCS has gone down 3 random times I've tried to access it, and the 'unmetered' means just that- you've got plenty of meth smoking, buttcoin mining asshole neighbors.

    Avoid.

Yeah I know, sorry; if the asshole hadn't waited three days to have a dig at me I wouldn't be freshening up the bad press :P

    Who? Nicoara Alexandra?

  • @NodeKid Yeah. I jumped at this because of the price, but I made sure to cancel PP agreement because it's not worth having a box that can't run as a fucking nameserver because of the network saturation. Hell, a 486 with an RTL8019 could still do that, provided it wasn't on the worlds' shittiest hub.
