Which is inverse-proportional to their support. I've never had a problem with my hardware there.

Most of the pricing here is unfair and in your favour.
The pricing that most vendors provide here is their keenest sharpest pricing and if it was their only source of revenue they will always be living on the edge.
That price looks eminently fair to me but it can be had for cheaper.
