Network issue
Hello LET gods,
I recently installed proxmox on an OVH box and installed some kvm Windows VPS' and an OpenVZ centos 5.7 box for cPanel, pretty much right after the installation of the Centos 5.7 box - I get emailed by OVH.

They show me this log and tell me I need to reconfigure my IP to the VPS, however 1 response later they tell me it could as well be an application that scans the network. I have no knowledge of any application running, it's brand new after installation, a reinstall didn't solve this either.
Probably something very simple is going on and of of the regular experts can help me with this.
Thanks in advance, looking forward to your response

what are your network settings?
use this for KVM VPS : http://help.ovh.ie/BridgeClient
and make sure your Windows VPS netmask is always 255.255.255.255 (find it through regedit)
edit : or maybe this one http://help.ovh.ie/Proxmox but this guide is very old, don't know if this still work for proxmox in OVH.
I think this fixed it, thank you.
They placed a dead link in their emails to a similar link.
lol,, yeah i had the same problem like yours. just my recommendation for further same situation, find "255.255.255.0" in regedit, and replace it to "255.255.255.255" all of them.
