Dutchies, which USA provider/location has the best routing/ping to NL?
Fellow Dutchies, I need your help. I want to buy an USA VPS to use as VPN (for Netflix and such) but I am unsure which location/provider to take. I assume it has to be something on the East Coast, but there are several options there as well.
Please share me your experiences with the USA providers you use. I am especially interested in routing and pings from The Netherlands.

I've been using a VPS at Cloudshards as a VPN for Netflix
I could watch movies in HD at Netflix, no lag etc
Location is Buffalo, works great for netflix
Try BitAccell NY VPS from @Corey. It comes with a 1Gbps pipe to start with.
Not from NL but from Sweden. Have used both IPXCore and ServerDragon ... both working great.
I would go with ipxcore.
Ramnode is also enough to watch Netflix but I can't pull more than 50mbit.
You can try to use Overplay's Smart DNS (or some other form of proxy DNS).
Never tested it but might be worth a shot.
Try any host who uses choopa.net the routes are usually really good. Generally see 12-13 hops and around 70-90ms max. Here is an example:

The only thing I have found to have less routes, but generally a bit higher latency (~90ms) to .NL is a host using Internap out of Ashburn, VA. Not sure if there are any LEB/LET hosts located in that area on Internap though.
Dacentec has some nice GBLX peering to NL, however, latency is usually around 91-110ms depending on the carriers used at your .NL location.

@Freek lets be more exact. Fliphost at choopa is the way to go! Just find their 16$/y offer and you will have smallest possible latency between .nl and .us

@Spirit No I haven't, but I have a server colocated with the company I work for in Latisys Datacenter in Ashburn, VA and we use Internap/Yellowfiber. That's what I was quoting the 90-110ms from. I have a few servers in .nl and it just depends on the peering the have weather its the 90ms or more. Choopa.net is still defiantly a little lower latency especially because of their HUGE Level3 commit.
