Japanese VPS
Hi all,
On the hunt for a Japanese VPS (needs to have an IP that geolocates in Japan). I'd prefer to use Japanese providers that are based in Japan, and not just the Japanese branch of a larger global VPS provider.
I've tried Ablenet (their disk wait was through the roof on the VPS). I've just tried to order through Conoha and it declined all of the 3 UK debit cards I tried, didn't even attempt to post an authorisation, just straight logged me out.
I'll only need this VPS for less than a month, but I may need it again in another few weeks, so I would ideally want an hourly billed VPS. Budget ~2200 Yen.

1 Core
50-100GB of disk
200GB transfer maximum I would think

I know you said you would prefer a Japanese based company, however Vultr does come to mind. Unfortunately their block storage is out of stock, but their $20 VPS plan offers 60GB of storage.

Linode has a Japan location.
Vultr's JP based VPS are actually pretty good. They should be roughly within your budget.

Vultr's Japan VPS is quite good too. You can go for it.
oh btw, we do offer Japan VPS in SoftBank Datacenter but it is not within the LET range (in fact it is quite costly).
I can add 10GB disk space to the basic package for free.

iirc vultr uses USA address space on their japanese boxes, making the ips only geolocated to japan, not actually japanese.
+1 vote for Linode & Vultr Japan.
The last time I ordered a JP VPS from Vultr, it had geo-located IPs.

It's a luck of the draw, more often you get their 100-something range, and those are ARIN.
Vultr is hardly an option anymore with their intrusive censorship.
