I am looking for a server to host my nextcloud on. Looking for:

1 CPU
1-2 GB Ram
25+ GB HDD/SSD
500 GB @ 100 Mbit/s+
Europe (prefer germany or netherlands)
KVM (or XEN)
$7 max

I want a stable provider, no summerhosts. Looking for long term.

with that budget, you have plenty of options. even hetzner gets you covered with their smallest VPS (only 1GB ram though).
or look at arubacloud. their medium instance is 6,50€ for 2GB/50GB and is available in FFM or London etc.
afaik OVH just opened their VPS/public cloud offers out of limburg just lately, so you could also go with them.

but ;-) as @bersy already mentioned I'd probably go with UltraVPS, especially if you are after NL location. for a discount of 15% for the first six months use the aff-link from my sig when ordering...

the other one I am usually recommending too and that would match your specs, would be netcup, I run a private cloud service on one box there too and am happy with the performance.
