My experiences with KMS-hosting weren`t good.
The server and the support were quite slow.
rootserver is just a shit term, can be everything. Some say a vps is root server others sell bare metal as root server.
So keep your eyes open and don't get scammed.

Many german provider use "rootserver" for KVM based servers but thats not realy correct also in german.
Therefor does not exist any definition nor standard for naming a kvm virtualized server - in my mind, a rootserver is just a server with root access, neither virtualized with kvm or dedicated hardware - it doesnt matter
Every serious provider also states on his product page which technology is used.
