Cheapest possible VPS with a dedicated IP
Looking for the cheapest possible VPS with a dedicated IP.
Location - Don't care.
Virtualization - Don't care.
Specs -
- 128-256 MB RAM
- 1 vCore
- 2-5GB Storage (SSD, preferred)
- 100 GB/Mo @ 100MBit or above.
- 1 IP
Price - Lowest possible, paid yearly.
I had a 4$/Yr 256MB VPS with ChicagoVPS, but looks like they didn't want me to hold their IP for that princely sum.
So, they raised an invoice for renewal and even sent it. It's just that my gmail ID was probably not too happy about that odd invoice, or just decided to hide it until that VPS got terminated.
Any hosts with some spare resources / IP on a node, who wouldn't mind having an idler / occasional user on?

I could probably do it for the cost of an IP ... OpenVZ ok I guess?
VPN usage or what did you have in mind?
US location?

I too wish for 2 such vps' to install cpanel dnsonly and make a cluster..
I may be able to issue a small stock to some of our locations:
For $6USD/y. Only available in Los Angeles, Atlanta and London. PM me if you are interested, I will issue a package for it. No more than 10-15 VPS available however.
Regards, David
It's gonna still be @VirMach.

Black Friday is only 77 days away, can you wait?
.. and LET gives up it's fast food for ramen.. for two months.
I think he/she wants the the dirt cheap, the rock bottom, the extremely low-end VPS without support, the very poor cheapo at the very bottom, the one that providers are too lazy to sell and consumers are too worried to buy, he wants the ultracheap VPS located in the bargain-basement that nobody wants to idle.
Don't you save up your Satoshis for Black Friday?
TBH I don't know how VirMach sustains, but their services are rock solid and their support generally decent. That's why everybody's recommeding them.
I think they survive only because their incredible specials are targeted and very limited in time and quantity.
Yes.... but what if that's what they're selling??? Where they make the money than??
My VPS subscriptions run out like mid next year so I still got a lot of time left on it, wonder if it'll last that long, lets just hope it does.. They're service is amazing for how much I pay, so I wonder how are those Colocrossing bills coming along..
but to enable TUN/TAP, we need to pay
