Vilayer Review - Better than expected

Vilayer seems to get quite bad reviews and I have literally no idea why. Okay, their support can sometimes be slow but for the most part they're really good.
I've had 2 Garry's Mod servers and 1 4gb VPS with them. I won't go into detail on the GMod servers here as I want to get onto the VPS but they were reasonably good. Had a few issues with FastDL however they were fixed within 24 hours of opening a support ticket.
The VPS has been brilliant. Speeds generally as good as my experience with Kimsufi/OVH last year (I had a 32gb Dedi with them which I used for server hosting) which is quite surprising. Their nodes are certainly not overloaded as some people seem to suggest. The prices are where Vilayer really shine; you can create a custom-spec for the VPS which is useful for obvious reasons, and setup is almost instant. For the price I expected less than what I have recieved quality-wise. I'm moving away back to Kimsufi to get an 8gb dedi at the end of the month however I feel the need to give Vilayer some positive feedback and praise as few others seem to be doing so.
VPS Quality: 8/10
Price: 10/10
Support: 6/10
Overall: 8/10
I would highly recommend Vilayer.

@Pebsie nice review, refreshing somebody likes a host rather than the typical "this host sucks because they wouldn't let me run pirated software and ddos".type of reviews.
Ignore the mob of irrelevant derailers. :)

  • Good

  • not bad

  • @shovenose Yeah I thought we need one aha thanks.

  • 4GB VPS? I doubt that was $7? if not, that can't reflect their quality of a LEB

  • @BronzeByte That's fair enough, however this is a general review of their services. Would you prefer I moved it to Off-Topic?

  • I just benchmarked Vilayer Luxembourg location.About 1/1gbit full duplex..
