How many rules do you have in csf? Do you use cphulkd?
Default rules, allow some regular ports.
And cphulkd disabled
Usually default csf does not impact applications in sesnsible manner. It's roundcube problem. Try horde.

One more idea: if you have limited your apache memory in WHM, remove this setting. It helps.

nevermind, The plugins itself caused this. Case closed
In such cases, try to reinstall CSF.
PS. I know case is closed but would be helpful for someone.
