    It's been a week since I purchased a yearly 256mb xen from onepound, no problems at all and the vps performance is nice and stable.

    Does the memory upgrade apply to the whole year. or the 6 months?

    @rchurch The upgrades relate to whatever you choose for the billing period, their pricing will change for either 6 or 12 months.
