Hetzner is atm @29€ for 6 TB, good idea. No Raid required for storage part. but two disks would be nice so i can raid1 the rootfs and raid0 the storage.
Yes, it's 2x 3tb disks, so you can make raid and non-raid partitions. Note that usable storage is really around 2.5TiB per drive because of decimal terabytes, file system overhead etc.

Or if you prefer a dedi you can get a 4TB Green G3900 for 33€/month.
