Looking for a storage VPS

My storage VPS in hostsolutions is still down and now I am looking for a substitution. Here are the requirements

500G or 1TB storage HDD

OpenVZ (or KVM)

UK location is preferred

50USD/year or lower

    Such a coincidence. I have already been your customer about a year ago when you were called rackhost. And now I am still using your 200GB storage VPS for 5 USD a month.

    Whatever happened to @AshleyUK? I was reading some disparaging stuff about them the other day, and wasn't sure if I felt good about not jumping on their storage special or not.

    Some performance issues.

    There is this update:

    We are currently undergoing some CEPH Expansion tasks to improve performance and capacity.

You will notice an impact in I/O performance during this time.

    Currently this is how its on my server:

5368709120 bytes (5.4 GB, 5.0 GiB) copied, 111.124 s, 48.3 MB/s

    Way down from the 150MB/s I got in the beginning. It seems to be oversold too much. Which is expected since the promo is still going on, afaik?

    It's usable for backups, even if rheumatic. No downtime so far.

    Pff. 48.3MB/s? That's amazing. Check the read speed on the CEPH storage. You'll be baffled.

    Ah, also recorded a quick video: https://s.flamz.pw/video/diskspeed.mp4

    I get ~37MB/s write speeds to the CEPH storage, and 50.6MB/s write on the main drive.
