Can't reach it via RDP? Did you enable RDP access for your account and add a firewall exception for it? Ping to Google is because it routes it to France then to USA (yes, it shouldn't but this isn't related.)

Not really @jarland I do 16TB /mo paying 18 SGD with LW for 2x4cores vps . I've seen them go close to 200 mbits
Is crazy how their DC connectivity is so limited, but at a personal level every has 1Gbps as standard and can happily make use of it with no issues.
Someone has to pay for this gigabits ;-).
Yeah totally agree, Singtel do have a big monopoly out here which makes it hard for other networks.
