Sysctl Tweak for KVM Host Node

UmairUmair Member

Hello,

Anyone here would like to share (or help with) any sysctl.conf tweaks one must do for KVM Host node based on CentOS7?

Do you think standard values are good enough ?

Thanks

    ...for what?

If you're running Crashplan or Oracle, no they're not.

If you're logging in to play nethack, sure they're fine.

I personally don't mess with them too much, I just ensure the virtual-host 'tuned' profile is set.

This is exactly what I am doing. I was having some issue (under high traffic to a VM) with one server and the host network team said I need to tweak node syctl for KVM (without giving any specific info)

Sysctl for VM is already tweaked for high traffic. I was not sure what special to do with Host Node.
