Why isn't Debian 6.0 x86 on the onApp template list?

Hello,

Recently I signup a small vps with an onApp provider and discover that there is no Debian 6.0 x86 in the template list:

Do you know any justification for this?

Use the 64bit version, It is better.

Why it's better? In a small VPS we don't have any advantage using a 64bit distro.

I wondered this as well but no clue why..

you still gain an advantage with 64 bit over 32 bit as you have a larger execution frame, and more features from the system.64 bit is not only for added memory passed 4 gigs.

Have also found disk io to be sometimes faster on 64bit.

Using a 64-bit system will make your applications use anywhere up to twice as much RAM as on a 32-bit system. This is very noticeable on VPSes with a low amount of RAM. 64 bits is not always better suited.

No. You use almost twice the RAM . Specially on VPS systems with less ram you don't want that. If there is a debian 5 32-bit template install that and upgrade.

Yes, there is a 5.0, but this is very strange!

You notice this on big hosts too, they want you to use 64 bit.
