Plex server with webdav

misurymisury Member

Hello all-

Curious if anyone can help me with a bit of a wall I'm hitting. I use put.io to host my files and do my torrenting. As they have webdav running, I was trying to use my server to stream the files from put.io and use Plex to transcode/push it out as my requests came in. It works at first, but then it seems maybe the webdav closes connection and Plex trying to pull it up doesn't restart it.

Do I need a low tech solution, like a batch file that opens the folder and closes it every few min?

Thanks for any help!

I have used webdav in the past with no issues. It might be put.io limiting the webdav connection however.

They have a Plex plugin that might be more streamlined, have you tried that yet?

Alright, I'll check in with them. What OS and mounting method do you use, if you don't mind my asking. :)

    I used Ubuntu 16.04 with dav2fs.
