Access stats for Nginx?

CentaurCentaur Member

I was wondering what you use as an alternative to something like awstats to analyze the access logs of nginx. Since getting awstats to work on a pure nginx setup is a big pain (from what I have been reading on the internets).

Thanks

  • i always use webalizer on all type of web server. :D

  • use awstats but generate the report when you want to see it ?

awstats just outputs HTML - you could even use a cron job to automate it rather than having it "live"

  • I have awstats running in the cronjob for nginx. No problems with it. Currently I'm thinking of running piwik.

I was using webalizer worked alright until the logs got too big and it took ages to generate, I started setting up awstats and then I was like I CBA with this. So I've just ended up using Google Analytics.

  • Awstats is awesome best stats program i use
