The university network is blocking OpenVPN traffic.

How can I hide the OpenVPN traffic?

Comments

  • Use protocol tcp and port 443

  • That might work or may not if they're doing full DPI they can still see it's Opvn (it has a telltale signiture) you'd have to use TCP 443 and obfsproxy or some such

  • TCP 443 is what I do at college

Your question is incomplete. You forgot to mention from Who and from What.

proxy over port 80 and ssh proxy with another server. use ssh proxy with proxifier ... if universtiy using own dns servers, in proxifier select dns over proxy ...

  • My university is blocking vpn traffic to prevent license servers from being exposed to the evil outside world. You could tunnel over ssh.
