  One thing that's helped is signing up with Vultr and DO (thanks Jarland for the DO help!). They are hourly so I don't need so many idle VPS to occasionally try stuff out on, or collect weird locations. I can just spin up an instance for an evening or few days in any region, do my thing, and spin it back down.
