sharing Hetzner dedicated server [IDEA]
Hello,
I know there was a topic about something like this before. Here is my idea:
I'm going to buy a dedicated server with Hetzner with all the addons (1gigabit connection, 240gb ssd) and sell kvm or xen boxes. Howevr as non profit "company". Fast calculating shows that it will be around 8euros for 1GB.
For a pure ssd, gigabit kvm vps I don't think that is bad, is it?
Good idea, bad idea? and if good, are there interrested people?

All the addons will be around 170euros. Yes I took it a little high. Better lower it in the end than up it.
That's €3.82 could almost get you 512MB :P
If you didn't opt for all the addons and were able to offer lower per-VPS prices, I'd be on board. Though I do prefer 512MB boxes or less; 1GB is too much. Even with 512MB, most of my boxes stay at <100MB usage most of the time.
I calculated a /27 block so I should be able to offer 512mb boxes.
What is the calculation you do to get that figure ? I'll not lie, I'm looking to buy one also and just sell vps's to my buddies ....

@taronyu you do know that bridged mode networking won't work at Hetzner, don't you?
