Maybe this utility here? https://documentation.online.net/en/dedicated-server/hardware/raid/card-dell-perc-h200
Edit: some places say the megacli or using
-d sat+megaraid,00
with smartctl work tooMy server has just been delivered but I ordered way before this thread was created.

You should be able to use /dev/sg0 and /dev/sg2 to check smartctl values.

where is mine?
Try asking oneprovider not @jarland
note: don't install debian 8 either...
I could probably cycle to Paris in the time this iDRAC console takes to boot and refresh…
And don't rely on the rescue mode. It netboots the rescue system just fine, but the OneProvider panel will tell you that your username is "" and your password is "".
That was precisely two minutes too late…
Well, I'll hope for the best.
Meanwhile…

My server was delivered too, it comes with a i3-2100 cpu
You're doing RAID 0 on Online.net HDDs?!
Why the sad face? That's better than the spec you purchased.
Did you really just complain about a getting a CPU that's an entire year newer and 1.4 times as powerful?
Edit: /me is a tiny bit edgy because of OneProvider's amazing panel. Apologies for the harsh words.
Hopefully I don't burn down their DC.
I was about to say they can give me that processor as well if they want to, FFS people and being hung with a new rope.

@Harambe it was a typo, i mean a little surprise
Rotterdam, Netherlands id3.net 10.6MB/s
Haarlem, Netherlands Leaseweb 10.0MB/s
Pretty crap connection to the Netherlands. Anyadjustments I can make server side to improve this or do I just open a ticket?
Hope you're joking...
Would be an awful joke if I were.
I got over 700mbit to that location so consider that the test file also has it's own limitations, and that 100mbit to one location for this price/spec is incredible and I would be very careful in how I approach complaining about it. It's actually cheaper to refund you than investigate the issue.
Comparing my result with yours and conducting the same speed test on my 6 euro a month Dedibox SC which received:
Rotterdam, Netherlands id3.net 50.7MB/s
Haarlem, Netherlands Leaseweb 24.1MB/s
I'm gonna go with raising a complaint.
Havent got mine yet, submitted order when this Fred only had a couple of posts. However it does say in the pending deliveries for sever location: Los Angeles maybe because i looked in that location for servers then came back and ordered this cheapie? who knows
I got an i3-530 ...:(
I'm gonna go with "expects too much and will likely be asked to stop using so much bandwidth later." I know people like to complain about advertising vs policies and stuff but in reality if people weren't always trying to push things so hard just to prove advertising is false, they could have nicer things and would almost never run into issues with it. Like being able to burst 1Gbps suddenly being limited to 10mbps because you wanted to prove you can't sell 1Gbps for that price, so you forced their hand at lowering the value of your service.
Don't make waves, enjoy nice things and let others enjoy them too.
im sure they would gladly cut you of and give it to those on their waiting list
Why would he want to do that? I mean if he can screw everyone else up, he might as well since he is not happy. I mean $10.69 a month should get him a full 1 gig line right? I am waiting to see if people like him end up getting this deal shut down soon or not. Not that I want it to, but they might just cancel all of them if they get enough complaints.
One of two that I order just arrived. First arrived one that was ordered later ... Anyway some benchs.
Alright, mine arrived last night as well, AND I was able to install Arch with the automated system.
Seems like you can adjust the amount of swap with simply editing the "fixed" number with inspect element when manually partitioning.
