Anyone using this right now? How is it as a HyperVisor?
Thinking to run it on one of my test servers at OVH.

I would wait for a few months, it's too fresh. Would be interested to see how it compares to Proxmox and other HVs
i will try it on a spare server i have, let see how it works.

Exactly, specially compared to ESXi and ProxMox. The storage options with FreeNAS are just amazing though, reason why I'm so interested.
What are you talking about......?
i typed a wrong info, so i edited comment.
Ah right ok! Let me know how that test goes, as I have someone on my test box atm I can't test it on my DC servers. Going to test it at home later on.
I've just tried the new FreeNAS in my testlab and it's quite awesome. Will try out the VM feature this weekend and post some review if it's an usable option to run on bare metal.
Eh, upgraded my home FreeNAS 9.10 setup to Corral but apparently Corral doesn't like lag interfaces. I'm stuck without my NAS until I can be bothered to go to the shed and setup the network without lag.
Ugh, Docker. It needs to hurry up and die.
I am genuinely interested in seeing if this increases interest in bhyve.
I just tried it out, the VM stuff is quite limited.
Not as flexible as ESXi with what you can do.
..and it breaks plugins/jails. Dammit, BSD projects, don't become just another more-stable-than-Linux distribution.
