OpLink now supports ISO installs

Received this via email after reaching out to them last week regarding installing from ISO. Check out their 50% off KVM coupon.

Hi,

Just wanted to reach out. We now support ISO installs and offer FREEBSD via ISO install.

    Anyone get their IPv6 working on FreeBSD? Mine will ping around 7 times and then stop for awhile and then ping for around 7 times again.

    These Oplink VPSes are fucking beast though!

    ifconfig_vtnet0_ipv6="inet6 ipv6addressgoeshere/64"
    ipv6_defaultrouter="ipv6gatewaygoeshere"

    It's weird, it'll ping out for around 7 times and then just lose connection...then if I ping the gateway it'l allow me to ping out 7 times again and then stop again lol.

    Love Oplink btw :)

    Haha, I actually named it after Umbrella Corp from Resident Evil. I have the hardest time coming up with hostnames and the other day it hit me out of nowhere that for my next few servers I'll just name them after Resident Evil stuff.

    KVM service is not a basic or dedicated server. The previous coupon is not on the VPS page.

    Thanks! I tried out those IPv6 settings before and it was a no go :(. Only way I can get it to ping anything is by pinging the gateway once and then it'll stay active for a couple of seconds.

    I opted to just install Ubuntu 16.04 and IPv6 works great with that OS, but if I try FreeBSD again on this VPS I will certainly open a ticket.

    I hope Oplink.net does another VPS promo in the future because I will upgrade the plan I have and probably buy another one :)
