Storage Server
Hi, I am searching a dedicated storage server around this config:
Intel Xeon E3-1230
RAM: 16 GB DDR3 ECC
HDDs: 8x 4TB SATA HW Raid
IPMI/KVM
100 MBit or 1 Gbit connection about 10 TB traffic per month. Location EU.
We would need to send over a USB drive for the first data upload so that is required. The storage will be used to backup. Thanks Mike

I am sure they don't allow us to send over a USB disk to copy the initial data.
Online business support sla includes acccess to the datacenter. So maybe.
The Online datacenter access is only available for the bigger servers (Pro series) I believe. And they don't have a configuration like that.
You could look at a Hetzner SX-61 and ask them about the USB drive issue.

We can offer you this configuration in europe - exactly the same, you mentioned.
In our page it is 4 x 4TB max, but with HW RAID we can do some upgrades and offer 8 x 4TB HDD's.
No issues with USB key.
