Signed up on Feb 6 as an offsite cpanel backup box. Server was provisioned early Feb 7. Copied my data over to the vps and so far I have to say that I'm pleased with Fliphost. For the cpanel backups that I'm doing, it seems great. More below:
Speedtest seems to think this Dallas server is up in Canada because it tries to pick a server in Canada to test with. After forcing softlayer in Dallas to test, I'm getting: http://www.speedtest.net/result/2501281709.png Notice how far it thinks it is from Dallas, yet it's a 1ms ping. (Not sure why speedtest thinks the ping is higher)

Regarding the location issue, I would suspect this is the case because the IP's are from a Canada provider.
