    1. Buy cPanel account for $1
    2. Click Softaculous/Fantastico/Installatron
    3. Click Magento
    4. ?????
    5. Profit

for Magento I recommend VPS as the software required more server resources, try the opencart instead as it's faster and only a few clicks to install.

And also horrendously insecure and poorly maintained.

any such software is horrendously insecure, try oscommerce, you will find exactly the same, just need to know how to maintain and secure it.

    Anyhow, anything you like?

  • I recommend using Shopify if you plan on really doing it. It has great live chat support. It's easy to modify, maintain, etc ... but it does cost some $$$ but well worth it.

  • Go for WordPress and WooCommerce.

I've heard WooCommerce is not secure. Is that true?

I don't know where did you hear that, but just keep your WP and plugins up-to-date and you should be fine.
And don't use a lot of plugins, only the ones that you really need.

@OhMyMy if you will need to go somewhere or drink a beer with friends, its OK. I will comment on his posts in your absence. Because "trying to help a brother out" by selling companies's goodwill irked me too!

@asterisk14 if you really want to help brother out then give away what you got for free. No one is interested in your shit.
