@QuadraNet_Adam
You guys are nothing but a waste of time.
smh.
Go back to hackforums..
Implying I even browse that forum full of little children.
Well, well, well! Welcome, you! After all this shitty behavior of your company with the crissic handling and your disappearing, you came here to bring the news about... Equinix?
Another carrier DC dump.
$7
Cash payment.. hmm... Tax evasion.
No... It means they aren't issuing shares or options to pay for it.
These are both public traded companies, wtf are you even thinking about?
It's a share trade for cash, which is the absolute norm if the buyer has money available AND both are inside the US (eg. unlike Apple will ALWAYS issue shares or get credit as most money is stored outside the US and would incur taxes once imported).
You further do not pay (relevant) tax on this trade at all by US laws, the money goes from company to company and not to a private person or the shareholders (yet).
A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, in a Democracy.
"cash" in this case does not mean real cash, as in dead people printed on paper.
when verizon is poor after buying yahoo
No.
@karatekidmonkey, maybe they are selling Yahoo DC's
I sometimes wonder, how do such big companies make it back? Microsoft bought Nokia for example. Will they ever recover the invested cash?
Yes, because they assimilate the competition brand, or destroy it by trying to create monopole.
Too bad, "her majesty" is on some Canadian moolah
i would said that i do not understand rich ppl world. i would stay and sit to watch their performance on this.
Actually they are, plus Intellectual property is very imp. these days.
Also, hint hint: How many hardware by MS do you know of before acquiring Nokia Mobility division and compare it now.
A little brain with less humor is a dangerous thing, In anywhere.
