I'm still using my VPSDime VM, it's still good.
I still drink DrPepper, its still good.
their service is good, i have been with them more than 3 years and no issue
There are new providers such as time4vps who can offer storage vps for even cheaper price than backupsy.
Backupsy still providing good services for current customers but it's days gone.
Don't forget about Kimsufi it's even better than shared vps.
The time4vps have IOPS and CPU limitation on their storage VPS range.

@WebProject you assume that if vps provider doesn't mention some limits it means customer can abuse as much as he want?
That's one of the reason why dedicated servers are better than some random provider who will suspended as they wish. (you too)
I've been using Backupsy for a very long time. Recently asked for a quote for 4/6TB and the price was quite enormous. $14 USD per TB is not competitive nowadays. This was their best price and I've been a client for years. Still, they're very reliable. Oktay is an excellent guy.
14 dollars a tb is pretty competitive sorry other factors come into play.
Not anymore. It's overpriced for VPS.
@layer really when ip costs, support costs, Colo or server rental. Yeah 14 dollars a tb is good. Sometimes cheap is not good.
Maybe cheap but not cheap enough in my book. Yes I'd like faster storage but €2 per TB at time4vps is hard to beat for me, I'd be willing to pay double for something faster but not 6.5x
@PieNotEvenEaten I'm really sorry but currently there are even dedicated server providers offering cheap storage.
Nobody will care for providers "ip costs, support costs, Colo or server rental.".
No, the resources are normally shared, with 1 CPU at 1.90 GHz, i don't think it will be fast or great to host some projects.
The name Backupsy implies a certain use-case.
I do believe that Backupsy has option to upgrade to regular VPS usage.
No point in trying to explain to you. Everyone has their opinion. But 14 dollars a tb is still cheap! I pay more than 14 per tb but that is with a provider I trust.
