Use that one. MUCH easier to use.

you need to add or remove credentials from /etc/ppp/chap-secrets and /etc/ipsec.d/passwd ...
for adding you could most probably cut out some parts of the original script and do something like this: http://pastebin.com/3CgLzhGX
very much untested, use at your own risk or simply generate the encrypted pw and edit the files manually! ;-)
