Lost Access to my Laptop's Admin Password
So far I've used ophcrack free table now I'm downloading a much bigger table (6gb) and hope it finds however I have a feeling the password was "special" with 12+ characters. So that led me to the conclusion of having to generate custom tables with something like 7-15 length with all possible answers into table files.
Is this what you would do?

Which windows version is it and is the drive encrypted?
Wondering why you are not just simply changing the local admin password with any one of countless bootable ISO's that have been available since 2001 ?
Nope. I'd boot a live linux disk. Either access the files I have if I'm in a hurry or reset the password.
It's Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and it is not encrypted.

All fixed now, I used chntpw live cd which is 18mb. Took 30seconds to blank the password. Thanks for the help!
