Looking to setup owncloud and a proxy (with cache) service, possibly a minecraft server as well.

Take a look at UltraVPS LA KVM offers.
LetBox used to offer 1-2GB KVM for $2.5-5/m in LA. There is no stock at this moment though @key900.
By the way, how much storage space do you need?
Anything above 20gb is fine, if there's an option to buy more than that's a plus.
