Display Issue in Linux

I thought of installing Ubuntu on my new PC.
The monitor has a resolution of 1366x768, that's not included by default in Ubuntu or any other Linux distro. So, I made new modeline. cvt1366 768 60 returned

# 1368x768 @ 60.00 Hz (GTF) hsync: 47.70 kHz; pclk: 85.86 MHz Modeline "1368x768_60.00" 85.86 1368 1440 1584 1800 768 769 772 795 -HSync + Vsync

See the new modeline is 1368 instead of 1366. So, can anyone help me out in making a custom modeline? I've got the hsync, vsync rate of the monitor from the manual itself.
