Requirements:

  • good single core performance
  • good IO (SSD)
  • 20GB Storage
  • 2GB RAM

Preferably in Europe, but America is also okay.

Budget: No more than 6USD/month

Comments

  • BuyVM if you can increase budget to 7USD

If you could work with 1GB RAM instead of 2GB all of mine run on i7-4790K CPUs.

    Hello,

You can check KVM SSD plan at wishosting.com - 3.6GHz core speed, $5/mo

  • What is good single core performance for you? Do you have a minimum clock speed or single core benchmark?

  • We can do this for you in Netherlands with 1 core of E3-1230 @ 1Gbps. Drop me a PM if interested and I can happily set you up with a trial first.

    unless it's V2 + i would not give that a good single core performance/.

Check our offers. OnApp-powered all SSD KVM.

Ambiguous. There are better processors than E3-1230, but it all depends on what you define as "good single core performance". Providing numbers usually settles this.

Speaking of numbers, you can check the following page for comparison: http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Xeon-E3-1230-v2-vs-Intel-Xeon-E3-1230 :-)

  • Prometeus offers a "VPS SSD Pro" line in Milano, Italy that might work. With 1 vCPU, 2GB RAM, 25GB SSD space, and 2TB BW, the price is $61.60/yr ($5.14/mo). If you choose to pay monthly or quarterly, it's slightly over $6/mo. Link is here.
I have a VPS from that line and the CPU is an E3-1240 V2 @ 3.40GHz.

Indeed, that's quite ambiguous. It's just arbitrary, but let's say everything better than 1900 here: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/singleThread.html

Sounds great, but 15GB isn't enough

@jhnnbr 4ghz cores overe here, $5 for 2GB ram and 10GB SSD. You'll have to increase your budget to $10 for 20GB SSD. Maximum of 16 VM's per server so the performance is good.

http://c38.host check out the status page, there is plenty of performance for you.

  • I would recommend you BuyVM if you slightly increase your budget, Francisco is a nice guy and maybe give you some discount. :)
