I wanted to install Debian 8 on my VPS, because I need.
There is no Debian 8 !!!
I opened a ticket March 21, 2016, I received a reply on March 23:
Hello,
we do not provide any other distribution systems other than the current ones advertised on our website at rootnerds.com.

As far as the other ticket goes, why haven't you switched? I swear people.
Just curious, as it has already long been established that you are not satisfied with them, they are clearly useless, just re-sellers of another host, and the VPS is sub standard, they are not even that cheap... why are you still wasting your time with them?
I had 1 VPS for 1 month.
It has never worked, and support have never answered.

Rootnerds was recently purchased by another company. The service/support should be a lot different compared to previous experiences.
Well, years before the quality was bad nothing has changed.
^ This, they've clearly listed out their supported distributions.
OP: Move on to another host.
Benchmarks are like going on vacation and getting mad at the current weather because you planned your vacation on past weather reports
