Transmission usually downloads it into the default folder, which isn't shared by a web server by default.

I usually download using http
Just make your standard download dir in the root directory of http server it should be easy
install some webserver like apache. Move the default download directory to the
var>www>htmlsomething directory or your user directory.What I do is zipping the downloaded ISO then moving it to the html directory that is protected by a password. Then downloading it using some software like FDM (My connection is bad so SCP like methods takes ages)
