Transmission usually downloads it into the default folder, which isn't shared by a web server by default.

    Is a local installation?

  • i installed it on vps

    I usually download using http

Just make your standard download dir in the root directory of http server it should be easy

  • install some webserver like apache. Move the default download directory to the var>www>html something directory or your user directory.

What I do is zipping the downloaded ISO then moving it to the html directory that is protected by a password. Then downloading it using some software like FDM (My connection is bad so SCP like methods takes ages)

  • Thnx for the solutions guys...

  • Install apache or nginx and php-fpm, then install php file indexer from this:
    https://larsjung.de/h5ai/ or https://github.com/lrsjng/h5ai

  • Or don't install anything and try caddy with its "browse" or "filemanager" feature! ;)
