Online.net SC vs XC (2016) / SSD vs. SATA (HDD)

Hi guys!
I'm looking for a nice dedicated box. I saw the dedicated boxes at Online.net and they look like a good deal to me. But i don't now what to pick for my needs.
I would like to run:
- rTorrent (for private trackers)
- OpenVPN
- Plex (just 2 streams is fine)
- Mount WEBDAV storage as local
- Maybe a small website
And do i have to pick the SSD or the SATA (HDD)? If i download something i would like to transfer it to the WEBDAV storage, also PLEX has to index that WEBDAV storage to stream content.
Suggestions and questions are welcome!
Thank you!
edit: added HDD to SATA in text.

both are sata the ssd version is just faster. not amazing iops though
Yeah, they are calling it SATA, but i ment the HDD version of the server. But there isn't a huge difference?
there is yeah but i would have gone for the standard 1TB version rather than SSD option.
For faster access, my advise is SSD.
But HDD will give you 100MBps sequential access.
the hdd's aint 5 years old. you will get a good 150MB/200MB these days.
Sadly the HDD in XC can do only 50M-80M due to a bug, SC can do 100M-150M
Which bug? Could you tell more details?
Bug on SATA port.
IIRC.. it's a bug with their BIOS.
Is there any place I can find the complains/detail report/issue tracking? Is there bug persistent with the newest provided servers?
Bug affects both SC and XC servers. Here's a thread on it: https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/1688631/
I don't know whether they've fixed it on their end yet. I haven't heard of any resolution though.
They still use sata 2
I have a Dedibox SC SSD 2016 in their AMS1 location and it's been really great so far. (I haven't experienced any bugs/slowdowns with the SSD, write speed still tests around 138 MB/s for me)
It's max for this type of SSD. On 256 GB it's 280 MB/s.
Yup I know
