Hi guys I have a server I don't longer need in sys/ovh . I paid 8 ips which I want to preserve but no longer need that box

I'm pretty sure you can't keep the IP's mate

Those IPs were assigned to OVH. You can not just "take" them with you and use them somewhere else. They would never be routed to new location...

You could move them to a vRack, however I think if you have no servers attached to the vRack they then become chargeable monthly.

Also could create a VM in OVH Cloud and move all the IP's to your Cloud Account.

  • SYS doesn't have vRack, IPs aren't transferable to OVH

  • You can put them in IP parking, or give them to someone else!
