Give it a try. I tested ReliableSite recently, was impressed. They're on my short list for where to buy servers with DDOS protection in the US.
I would go with 2 x 256 or 2 x 512 in a RAID1. A lot of the motherboards only have SATA3 6.0 Gbps on the first two slots.
