kvmoip switch problem
so i recently ordered a kvmoip switch the avocent dsr2020 now my problem is i cannot find a cable to configure or manage it with. i am trying to assign an ip to the switch basically to manage / console the switch. however im finding it hard to even find a cable to use to manage it my regular cable will not work for it my pc will not recognize it when i plug it in. does anyone have this same kvmoip switch and know the console cable to manage it with or will this one that i found work http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812338079&cm_re=avocent--12-338-079--Product

If you need null modem then just buy a null modem adapter, much more useful than a null USB one. (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HGIRU3O/)
If I remember right you pretty much have a brick unless you drop a ton of money on the Avocent DSView software. You're better off buying the dell rebranded ones.
