The only ones I know the PPP with MPPE working are dreamvps.us
Just for the record I can confirm my PPTP server is working just fine on Android device, or more specifically Samsung Galaxy Ace running stock Android 2.3.
And somehow now it's also working on SymVPN @yomero
Running SymVPN on Nokia E52.
Since I'm on OpenVZ VPS It's nice to have PPTP when OpenVPN / SSH Tunneling isn't viable.

Weird... what MTU are you using?
The default one, I guess.
Since I don't remember messing with MTU size at all when I'm tweaking the config file.
usually you want to set the MTU to 1400 or 1440
