VPS with cPanel License
A client of mine has outgrown shared hosting in terms of allocated resources and upgraded organizational requirements.
After doing a bit of research, I feel that a VPS with a competitively priced cPanel license would be a good fit, as a dedicated server would be way underutilized and would be an expensive proposition as the license alone would cost about $35.
So, here are the requirements -
- 100-200 GB Storage (Pure SSD or SSD Cached would be great!)
- 2-4 vCores
- 1-2GB RAM with 512-1GB SWAP
- 1TB Traffic over GBit (UP+DN Usage is typically under 250 GB/Mo)
- 1 IPv4 (Please quote the price for a couple of additional IPs)
cPanel/WHM License
System up-time and stability is critical.
DIY on a RamNode 1024MB CVZ with their internal license ($13) or a BuyCP external license ($14) would cost about $25/mo. So, I'd appreciate if the prices were competitive.

@vmbox has been solid for me. It'll be around $50 a year, and you can BYO VPS cpanel license for around $15 a month.
We have $12 internal cPanel licenses that can be added to any VPS package.

The cores allow 100% utilization, additional IPs are $1/mo. You can add/remove resources as necessary.
If you don't need dedicated Cpu resources, Hostus with the 2GB memory offer is the best value for money (with discounted cpanel license).

Instead of licensing a dedicated server, drop OpenVZ on it and create one big container that uses all of the server's resources. Then you can use a cPanel VPS license, which is more like $15/mo instead of $35/mo.
Yeah, I have heard about that workaround.
The client's requirements were just outside the realm of shared hosts, but not even close justifying the need to get a dedicated server. So, I went with the cPanel + VPS bundle that @VMBox offered, and things have been pretty smooth so far.
