Chile VPS for private VPN

edited March 2016 in Requests

Was planning on grabbing a Chile KVM from EDIS, but after ordering it from the main page, it sets location as Belgium and Chile doesn't appear in the list of available locations, so I guess that's a no go.

Don't suppose anyone knows of a provider in Chile w/ decent pricing (& TUN/TAP obviously)?

KVM STARTER EUR 8.49 Monthly 1024 MB RAM 5 GB HDD 1 IPv4 2 TB Traffic KVM based 100 Mbps, TUN/TAP

was what I was going to get with EDIS. Something similar would be fine.

    Saw this on maxided:

    https://maxided.com/configurator/server_id/432813

anyone know where they're getting it from?

ed: oh, edis, naturally. laugh. guess that order probably wouldn't go through

    Wish I could change topic.

Anyway, at this point, I'm essentially looking for any South American (or Central America) VPS/KVM/dedicated server provider that's not in Brazil. The only offers I've seen from Argentina are limited to 5Mbps or less & I'd want at least 10Mbps. Everything I've seen from Chile has incredibly high prices (even though they have like ... half a dozen or more datacenters there in Santiago???)..

Right now, Panama seems like the only other place w/ decent prices. I'm still curious as to where maxided gets its Belize servers from. Some Forex place, I guess.
