Memory balooning?
I'm not sure, but knowing CVPS, they're probably doing it to some degree. I think I'll wait for some benchmarks/tests to appear before grabbing one, as I'm tired of the reboots on my 2GB OVZ and want to move to a more stable VPS (2GB isn't worth the headache of daily reboots).
Difference between OpenVZ and Xen:
No real big difference besides that.

@BronzeByte - There is a whole lot more difference than that, Xen is a different architecture than OpenVZ. I don't want to get into it right now, but yes, there is a whole lot more to Xen than OpenVZ, not to mention resource isolation

That was pretty much my point
- Memory ballooning with Xen is like an air bubble in a bottle of water, you move it around but you never get rid of it. If anyone else is wondering, memory ballooning hasn't been done in a while by anyone because it's more work than it's worth.
