Heya,
I havent been purchasing any servers yet (aside from WDMyCloud boxes) so I need some feedback here:
I was looking to get a server with the following specs for 120€:
- Intel® Celeron E3300 Prozessor, 2 x 2.5 GHz
- 4096 MB RAM
- 2000 GB HDD
- Intel® Mainboard
I know the specs are far from being top-notch but I would merely use it as backup server and to run small webapps (for personal use).
Is this a fair price or should I go for another WDMyCloud product (already have some)? On WDMyCloud I couldnt run webapps but if the price is really bad I'd just setup another server for my webapps^^ Just thought with this I could do it both^^

Physical hardware or renting it?
Physical. Thats why I am asking. I have only been renting dedicated boxes so far. Didnt purchase physical hardware yet.
If you're going single hard drive for this you'd want a new one and that's going to push your budget. I'd say for €120 this will be a challenge.
Depends where you're located. Shouldn't be a problem to get that in Germany for example.
Got a complete pc with a c2d for 30€ with 320gb hdd last year.
I do live in Germany (if I am not traveling like atm). So fill me in on the details if you would?
Just look around for something like that on ebay, bids end at around 40€ atm.
