Hello!

I have created 3 resellers and two of them added as owner the first created reseller.

Reseller1 (owner root)
Reseller2 (owner Reseller1)
Reseller3 (owner Reseller1)

Reseller 1 have quota of 6MB
Reseller 2 = 3MB
Reseller 3 = 3MB

Now, reseller 2&3 uploaded 6MB and when I show the usage of Reseller1 on list accounts it shows 0MB!

Why the usage of Reseller2&3 is not counted? They are owned by Reseller1.

Can someone please explain?

Thank you!

  • Contact cpanel support :) and mostly will answer all of your question on the right way

  • I wanted to try it myself as its not a issue. Maybe there is a workaround, enebling something etc

cPanel does not support 'resellers of resellers'. There is no such option natively.

If you have Custom mods installed to enable it, cOanel won't support it. Additionally as they are not passing a proper QA the mods may not work properly and may be (very) insecure.

  • I have changed the ownership of resellers. No mod installed.

  • WHT said: No mod installed.

Then as @Clouvider mentioned, cPanel does not support resellers of resellers.

  • Phew, for a second there, I thought you were using Zamfoo.

    (Insert crappy gif here)

  • reseller1 owner is root? so root it is for everything :D
